The Dialogue Cafe Association and AltCity to establish a Dialogue Café in Beirut

AltCity  and the Dialogue Cafe Association (DCA) are proud to announce an official partnership to establish a Dialogue Cafe in Beirut, Lebanon.

The Dialogue Cafe in AltCity will link Beirut with cities around the world to co-host a wide variety of events, meetings, and activities using the latest in video-conference technology, enabling city-to-city and multi-city “face-to-face” events. The DCA currently includes active Dialogue Cafe locations in Lisbon (Portugal), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), and Amsterdam (The Netherlands), with others opening soon in London (UK), Lille (France), Ramallah (Palestine), Paris (France), Wroclaw (Poland), Belgrade (Serbia), Sao Paulo (Brazil), and now Beirut (Lebanon).

Once the technology is installed, AltCity and other community partners will organize and hold a program of innovative and globally-linked events. Together, AltCity and the Dialogue Cafe Association will bring people from various backgrounds and countries into face-to-face conversation so that they can share experiences, learn from each other, and work together to creative positive change.

AltCity will focus on developing Dialogue Cafe activities with many community partners and around various themes, including entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship, innovation, media, technology, social change, culture and arts, and more. The platform will also be available for use by a wide range of community organizations and companies.

More information about the program details and launch dates will be available soon.  Please sign up for the AltCity Newsletter (at www.altcity.me) to receive updates about this and other AltCity activities.
